Whistle Stop Park!

This is one of our favorite parks to go to and Eric has never been so we wanted to take him to play and show him how cool this park is! We all had a blast and our friends met us there to play as well witch made it even better! Lily loves pretending house on the huge structures with her friend Lillian and Jack loves the swings, slides and climbing everything! Eric and I being big kids we loved playing right along with them:) After playing we had a nice picnic lunch and then played again before heading back home! Be sure to check this park out if you have never been b/c is awesome, it's in Temple, TX right next to the Temple Train Station! Hope you like it as much as we do.

Thanksgiving!

We were so glad to have our Papa home just in time for Thanksgiving! Eric got home the night before down at Camp Mabrey, they arrived to the Unit around 7:45pm :) Everyone was so happy to see their loved ones back home it was so amazing to have Eric back and in our arms:) we all couldn't stop smiling! It's the best feeling ever to know that we are completely finished with our obligation to the United States Military!!! Yippy!!! It's been a long and hard year but we got through it together, and we are stronger and better because of it! Thank you to all the Military families that continue to serve our country we appreciate your sacrifice!

Thanksgiving day was so wonderful, Grandma was in the kitchen all day cooking for us and man oh man can she cook! She prepared two homemade pies(apple, and pumpkin). Turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, yams with marshmallows (my favorite), and gravy! Our bestie friends Julie, Lillian, and Lydia came over to have Turkey dinner with us, and they brought the yummiest pumpkin bread we have ever had! We all played in the house and outside till dinner was ready and then we chowed down! All I can say is yummy, yummy, yummy!!! Thanks Mama Lisa(Grandma) you rock and spoil us sooooooooo much, we love you!

Cameron Park Zoo! Waco, TX

It was a wonderful day to go to the Zoo yesterday. Our really good friends invited us to go with them and I am so glad they did because we had so much fun! We headed up to Waco at around 11:00am, then when we made it there we ate lunch at then were off to the Cameron Park Zoo! We were there for three hours, an hour of that was spent on the playground which the kids absolutely love. The kids did really well for not having a nap. Jack although did get stung by a bee, but man is he a trooper he barely cried he was just up set for a few minutes and picking at his finger were he was stung. We finished the rest of the Zoo and the kids had a blast! We left at about 4:00pm and Jack was out for the whole ride home. Lily kept talking about how much fun she had and looking at her Zoo map and picking out her favorite animals, then talked about them all like she was a zoologist! Thanks Julie, Rich, Lillian, and Lydia for a wonderful day together, you guys rock!

Chocolate pudding!

We all love going down to Austin to visit Grandma we always have such a wonderful time. Lily loves to help Grandma in the kitchen any chance she gets. This time though Lily did all the cooking, and made some yummy CHOCOLATE PUDDING! From start to finish she did it all! As you can tell from the picture she was loving it and had to make sure the pudding was just right by having more them a few taste test! After we all ate our dinner that night we got to have Lily's chocolate pudding for desert and boy oh boy was it good!

Cedar Park McDonalds!

WOW, was this a nice McD's!!! It was all nicely decorated inside, it was all modern and had a really nice stone water feature. The play area outside was one of the nicest I have ever seen! The big play area was Safari themed and the little toddler area was a tree house, it was all to cute.The kids played on it forever and had such a blast!

Meeting Sarah!

My friend Aliisha came into town from AZ, for a week to see her husband before he had to leave for his deployment. We got to meet their daughter Sarah for the first time and Lily had so much fun helping Aliisha with the feedings and watching over her. She was such a good little mommy! During the day while Nathan, Aliisha's husband had to work, we hung out and went shopping, got Starbucks, went out to lunch and hung out at our house for play dates for the kids! Sarah is a sweet little girl and it was so much fun getting to know her! We miss you guys already.

Personality

My little fashion designer Lily has always loved to dress up and make a fashion statement! She has put together some pretty crazy outfits in the past but as she is getting older they are really starting to look great, I love this one she put together this day! Work it girl!

Jack is my little handy man that loves to fix anything and everything in Mommies house! My walls the floor the furniture the toys the doors, you name it he can fix it:) He's bouncing on this fitness punching bag, some of his favorite things to play with!
